In April, to mark Sexual Assault Awareness Month, child domestic workers, survivors of sexual violence, and at-risk girls came together for a significant event. Participants included the Nairobi County GBV Coordinator, the Kamukunji Children Officer, Assistant County Commissioners, and various organizations such as the Centre for Rights Education and Awareness (CREAW), Bashosho Talents CBO, Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières, Kara Girls, Tags – Talia Agler Girls Shelter, and Shining Hope for Communities. All these groups united in advocacy against sexual violence and child domestic work. #SAAM2024 #endmodernslavery #endsexualviolence #notinvisibleanymore
