World Day Against Trafficking in Persons

In July, the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons is observed worldwide. In Kamukunji, various organizations united to organized a walk drawing attention to the pressing issues of child trafficking and sexual exploitation in Eastleigh area.

Under the 2024 theme “Leave No Child Behind,” the event emphasized the crucial role of the community min actively protecting and supporting every child. The walk served as a call to action for community members to be proactive in safeguarding children from exploitation.
