In April 2023, Maisha Girls Safe House was honored to welcome the Norwegian Ambassador, Gunnar Andreas, and his team, including Margaret Komen and Ellen Vralstad. During their visit, the Ambassador had the chance to meet with the girls we support and learn more about their experiences.

He emphasized the crucial role our Safe House plays in offering protection and support to young survivors of sexual violence. By meeting the girls and understanding their stories, the Ambassador and his team recognized the impact of our work and the importance of continuing to provide a safe haven for these young individuals.
