In June 2019, Maisha Girls safe house began efforts in rescuing young women who have been forced into prostitution or have been trafficked for sexual exploitation either within the country or across borders. The young women are taken through a rehabilitation program while at the same time looking and planning for alternative and decent sources of income generation.
